~The casting with this ep was unreal, because it was so good. There was something very similar between Kristen and Robert, and, well. Kristen and Robert. And I can't quite articulate what it is. The in-jokes caused dolphin noises, though. Paper-cuts! "I'm so clumsy!" "I know what I want, I'm 17!" Oh, I howled.
~ Not letting Dean fight with knives on-screen? It makes Baby Jesus cry.
~ That was some homoerotic subtext in that episode. "Oh, you're pretty!" I briefly went, oh, Sex Machine Vampire (waiting for Seth Gecko nao) wants to use him as a recruiter! And then Sex Machine offered Dean a tour of his privates, and I went O.O
~ There are no more lesbians in the Lower 48. They had one once, but she died in Season 2.
~ Yeah, idk what Sam's problem is, either. Genital herpes flareup?
~ Grandpa Campbell is the BEST EVER omg. I know he's evil (or maybe just some weird reflection of evil!John with actual evil content) but he wins me with flannel and snark.

Date: 2010-10-23 10:36 am (UTC)I enjoyed this episode of SPN, having Sam be a "No matter the cost!" sort of character is interesting, and I love Dean being so squeeful over his partner *awwwwwwww*

Date: 2010-10-25 07:52 pm (UTC)I thought this was one of the best eps of the season, not counting the Bobby one, as I like the lighthearted stuff. I am happy that they seem to be dealing with the Sam thing now, next week with ep 7. It's even an ep too long for me, but still, at least it's not dragging out further. With ep 4 Dean started to cock his head, with ep 5 he asked Sam outloud if he was ok and with ep 6 he called Bobby. And with ep 7 Dean witnessed how wrong Sam really is.
I loved the scene where Sam smirked, it was just... evil (and oh so wrong coming from Sam).
I also love the Dean took down an entire nest of vampires alone. Sure had vampire strenght, but still - a whole nest!! And I feel horrible about Dean and Lisa, I really thought they might make it, but it seems so unlikely now after what happened.
I near about swallowed my tongue when the Curly Haired vamp said "you're pretty". Alrighty then. I'm looking forward to next week, see where we're going with the whole Sam thing.
