- Michelle Obama's father has MS." I'm not sure how I missed this; I guess that's what I get for missing the Democratic National Convention? So for caregivers and family members, who can never get enough credit for being the patient souls they are, there's some representation in both parties.
- Coach, Heal Thyself: a chronic pain life-coach learns that she needs to listen to her own advice. Plus she gets credit for having a blog that references the Vagina Monologues.
- The Body Chronic lists 5 things she's learned about stress + chronic illness.
- Some slides from Dr. Mease's Recognizing Fibromyalgia As a True Disease Entity are shown here. (Warning: I found the site's color scheme a little jarring, but the slides' main site requires registering to view.) Quote from another slide: "We animals have a volume control setting for how our brain and spinal cord processes pain." Turn it up to 11! *headbang*

Fortuitous timing: a woman with an invisible disability speaks out about parking. It's from a Christian news site, but the writer is concentrating on disability issues, not her faith.
