Actual quote from tv ad: "Lack of sleep can lead to falling asleep at the wheel, poor job performance-- even weight gain!"

Oh lord, no! I can take killing myself or others with a ten-ton vehicle, but not WEIGHT GAIN.

*fans self*

AHAHAHA.
This is strangely appropriate, given the conversations I've had about sleep deprivation today. Also, no, you don't actually know who I am, I stalk is all.

I am not at all down with fat-hate (ask me how excited I am about the "wellness campaign" I'm supposed to communicate at work; go ahead), but I suppose one could reasonably interpret that as "it's obvious that lack of sleep can make you tired, but you might not know that it can also affect metabolism."

Still, meh.

This is one of those I don't know if I should giggle or cry. The really morbid part of me want to know which ad.

Sorry my comp froze and I don't actually know how many times it decided to submit this comment to you. I only saw it 2x.

It's awesome isn't it? And body issues aside - way to demonstrate some concern and appreciation for human life.
