- I'm working full-time at the college.
- My dad is doing better, just a little of the surgery incision open.
- I'm writing again.
- The depression is better. Not gone, I still have bad days, but better.

Based on how much I know about some of those jobs, I never know whether to send congratulations or condolences when someone gets a full time job at a college or university, so let's put it this way: I'm sending you good thoughts on that front either way. May they morph into proper proportions of whichever ratio of those you need. Full time job = good on some level, but I'm also hoping it's a job that keeps the heinous crap that colleges are spectacularly good at generating to a minimum.

I'm also glad your dad is doing better.

Obviously, I'm thrilled that you're writing again--and not just because it means more fic, but because I'm happy when you're happy in life. Glad the depression is getting better. Again, sending vibes (how California, right?) your way that it continues to get better.

It's been kind of crazy around here, so I haven't had a chance to say, but it was awesome to get to see you and beanside at Con.Txt.
