The kitten (from here) has come inside. She just walked in, and T shut the door behind her. Vet tomorrow. She is hiding under the kitchen table, but her tail is curled around her feet, so she's not completely freaked. She has the biggest purr ever, and she put her head into my palm to let me rub her ears. Mao adores her; he keeps sitting RIGHTNEXT to her and glowering at any cat that comes near. The dog slurped her cheek.

Adorkable.

(ETA: My brother is having surgery on WEDNESDAY, now. He's on bedrest. Thank you all so so much for the good thoughts.)

N'awwww...that's so cute! Both my boys were strays, and Houdini (the elder) did pretty much the exact same thing Mao did when Rewind came home. Took one look at him, and grabbed Rewind around the neck and started to lick him.

Good luck! BTW, which one came in? The 'tude tortie or the tuxedo?
