Great post on why you shouldn't be a dick to hotel staff. I hadn't thought about this angle of the fail, but yes. So much this.

I may end up writing a post today about what 'an harm it none, do as thy will' actually means to me as an ethical code, because man. The gods may advocate personal responsibility, but that doesn't mean replying to "why did you hit me?" with "well, maybe you shouldn't have stepped in front of my fist."

I hadn't even considered that side of it. That job would be so scary, and "hee, someone told us to quiet down but we didn't because we're just rebels like that" people definitely wouldn't help. Ugh.

And that ethical code post sounds really interesting!
