Random snippets of feedback, totally not fair recompense for this arriving when it did:
I am irrationally pleased by the use of the term wetwork in this story. I do not know why except that I think of it as somehow managing to convey the way that Jensen both tries to convince himself that the violence isn't a big deal and yet utterly reveals that he's not suited for it and so must detach himself from it. (Also, unconnectedly, it brings into focus for me the way that the story managed to create a totally pagan cyberpunk vibe, which I'm really enjoying).
And also, I am SO looking forward to seeing the dynamic of the three of them as it gets worked out. I am filled with gleeful anticipation trying to figure out how awesome the part of the story that gets Jensen to stop twitching away from them is going to be.
