Catblogging:
Oct. 29th, 2008 08:42 amThis morning, Millie had to go to the vet for a recheck and for some dental work. So we round her up and zip her into the travel bag, with Samwise lounging on the couch next to it. Sam watches up stuff his sister into the bag. Then, not five seconds later, Millie begins yowling sullenly to let her servants know of her displeasure. Sam sits straight up, alarmed despite watching her go into the bag, and comes over to sniff at her. He pats the bag, sympathetically, and we all go "aww."
And then the idiot steps on the bag and stands directly on Millie's head.
*facepalm*
Our boy, ladies and gentleman. He's very special in the brain.

Date: 2008-10-29 02:37 pm (UTC)Did I tell you he's afraid of asparagus? We had it on a plate and he honestly backed away from it. Scrunched down low and crept backwards and then RAN. From ASPARAGUS.

Date: 2008-10-29 02:43 pm (UTC)Also? We're convinced that cat purring is really the sound of their two brain cells rattling around in their heads. *g* It would explain a lot. *nods*
I've decided, however, that I'd like to come back in my next life as a pampered housecat. Sleeeeeep. :D

Date: 2008-10-30 05:17 am (UTC)One time he snatched a rib bone from hubby's plate and was immediately busted. He put his paws up against the bone to hold it in his mouth, and growled. I'd try to take it out and he would hold it in. I almost peed myself laughing.

I have never met another cat that used his paws like hands the way Toby did. He was a master at opening cupboards and drawers, and picked up kibble one at a time and fed himself.
I was happy to read that your Millie has more time to spend with you both.
