nilchance: original art from a vintage print; art of a woman being struck by lightning (shadow self)
Go watch this awesome vid: On the Prowl, which has the summary of where is our line? and earns it so hard. Warnings for violence and steadily increasing levels of gore.

Sadly, it was my palate cleanser after Perdido Street Station, and spoilers! )

20. What are your favorite character interactions to write?

Actually, I really enjoy writing porn. I didn't use to, and it still gives me a case of the nerves. But I think writing Ragnarok with T, with all the threesomes and more-somes and fifteen-somes, broke any aversion out of me. If I can handle THAT, I think, I can handle anything. The intimacy and the fondness and the damage and so on all shines in the smutty parts. Plus, hi, it's PORN. The internet is for porn. Trufax.

Other favorite interaction to write: BDSM scenes. Speaking of intimacy! And also what it shows you about a character. How raven!Jensen approaches kink is way different than, say, AKB!Misha. Their history creates how they react to being tied up or tormented. Plus, hi, it's BDSM.
