Ironically, after Obama failed to be our "fierce ally" and held up DOMA, I received my benefits explanation saying that T will be covered under my insurance now.

Six Feet Under, feminism and rape: this drew my attention mostly because, well, Jeremy Sisto was in Six Feet Under. But there's some very powerful commentary about rape, women and society behind that link, so go read.

Obama upholds the DOMA. Hope you enjoy your privileged marriage and family, Mr. President, because somewhere a woman is being denied access to her hospitalized partner, or a kid can't get vaccines because his two daddies don't COUNT under a benefits package. Is this a thank you for our votes?
