I love the Bourne Identity. I never liked Matt Damon, until I saw that movie. And Supremacy just cemented that love.
And as far as the demons, they have less an idea what Dean's doing than he does. Your "protect the family" guy is off, running on his own, while Daddy and little brother are in the hospital. You'd have to wonder what he was up to--had he found another gun of kill everything? Worse? It would have to make you want to see what he was up to.
