disorganized TTRPG musical flailing 7

I almost went with O Death by Jen Titus for the sake of Supernatural nostalgia, but it seems a little on the nose for a grave cleric of the Raven Queen. so instead I'm going with this:
after five years in a depression swamp, Tali managed to convince himself that his death turned him into an emotionless manifestation of the Raven Queen's will. lack of emotions is better, considering that loving someone is what led him down a dark path and ultimately got him killed. unfortunately for him, this campaign is challenging his apathy in a big way. there's a lot in Barovia to be furious about. more than that, he's starting to care about these people whose job it is to keep alive, especially
poisontaster's monk Helly, with whom he's building a genuine friendship. this is not just a job that his goddess gave him anymore. it's bringing up a lot of conflicted feelings about having a second chance at life. is he allowed to have friends? is he still a person? does he WANT to be a person after fucking up his last life so badly? it's a lot of heavy questions for a very tired cleric who just wants to pretend he's never had a single feeling in his entire second life.
