- I'm crazy, but it's not glamorous: "About a year ago, I decided that, you know, maybe it was time to get back on this horse and access some damn mental health services already."

- Written? Kitten!: For those who are doing nano or mini-nano, this site gives you kitten pictures for every 100 words you write. \o/

- Strong woman: "Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is complain."

- Even people who coach your team have to live in society: "There’s a natural cognitive bias towards believing that someone who’s in your tribe, someone you identify with, can do no wrong. And that can allow a lot of wrong to get done."

- It happened to me: I got in trouble for bringing my boobs with me to the office: "If I'd been told the neckline of my dress was inappropriate, I don't think I'd have been thrilled, but I'd have gotten over it. Instead, years later, I still seethe at the memory of a woman I respected telling me that it was because of my body." (Don't read the comments, though.)

You know, that boobs article not only reminds me of work issues I've had, it also brings back The Muslim Wedding all over again.

"I can see your cleavage."

"You're standing over me, I'm bending over to put my shoes on & my cleavage starts at my collarbones, practically. Yes, you can see my cleavage."

Oy. Yes, now that you mention it, that really does.

It also brings back "this student wouldn't be stalking you if you wore higher necklines".

It's like a greatest hits album.

UGH. Yes. Because, you know, the larger the boob, the more power it has to damage someone's brain chemistry.

"I can see your cleavage."

It's like Congratulations! I have boobs and they are not invisible, so good for you seeing them!

The implication that, to be 'modest', I'm supposed to somehow make my boobs just NOT BE THERE is both infuriating and stupid beyond belief.

I dread the words business casual. God forbid you should wear a shirt that even hints of riding up over your belly or back, oh noes!
