Oooohhh.... I just saw this post (wandered over from your AWESOME fic on DW to see what else you might have that I can't live without reading), and um.
Do you have the answer to your question about the deleted scene yet? Because I can tell you, but I don't want to if you don't want to be spoiled, or I can PM you if you don't want to worry about spoilers for anyone else wandering by.
I'll say this: the deleted scene made me squeal aloud, bound out of my chair, and dance around the room for about fifteen minutes.
Alas, I can't tell you why no bloopers - that would have been nice. But the other Blu Ray features are pretty interesting and fun. If I had a way to rip Blu Ray discs I'd upload them, but alas, I don't.
I bought a PS3 just for this movie, and I am not sorry! Of course I've also been playing Dragon Age: Origins every spare moment, which was an unintended side-effect.... *shifty*
ANYway. When I get home I'll try to put together a transcript, but in short, the scene opens with a new character played by Chris Noth talking on the phone to someone. That someone, we discover a few moments later, is Roque. Roque after the plane blows up -- blind in one eye, scars on his neck, this is definitely not-dead-after-all-Roque! He's also on a helicopter, wearing a very spiffy coat and a black beret with a silver insignia that I haven't gotten a good enough look at yet to identify.
Noth is apparently the newest incarnation of Max, and is bringing Roque on board for nefarious purposes -- something to the effect of, "let's be clear, I'm going to use you to hurt them very badly." Roque is apparently okay with this. But as long as he's not dead, redemption is possible! Cue squealing and dancing. :)
(This is where I would use one of my Clay/Roque icons if we were on DW.)
