Attitude of gratitude

Things what make me happy today:

1. My wife, who's the chocolate to my peanut butter
2. Codeine.
3. Dark chocolate-covered pomegranate seeds and all the tea I can drink.
4. That American Idol is on tonight. Oh, Simon, please offer all the sardonic bitterness I'm not allowed to voice.
5. Spring Break! It's so quiet out that I can write. Ahhh.
6. Jeremy Sisto on Law and Order, with his ridiculously tall body folded up in tiny chairs behind cramped desks so his knees nearly touch his chin.
7. The purple crocus just peeking up on our front lawn.
8. Our kitten, Gracie, with her huge ears and loud motorboat purr, and that she torments our older cat with her insistence on cleaning his face and paws. N'aww.
9. Pandora.com, man. My Fiona Apple radio is epic awesomeness.
10. UniCreatures and their pixelated adorable kittens.

I was reading the box in front of me at the same time as your journal ... sadly the box was a mcchicken sandwich box and I came away with the weird impressed that you topped your wife with "our" special recipe sauce ... at which point my brain said, "Fuckwit, this makes no sense. Try again."

I like this positivity list. I have a list of things not-yet-done, it is not so happy-making. :(
