Okay so my mental image of the building... was the building from Bladerunner. I almost said that in my comment and then thought "nah Loren, don't be a dork." You obviously did a great job describing the building considering the first thing my brain flashed to was Bladerunner and you were picturing Bladerunner while writing.
Please do pass it along to T! You've got me itching to read the rest of it. I had to crash right before the wedding. When I'm crazy busy and stressed out I like to read something GOOD before bed. It helps funnel my brain into a more restful place other then "holy crap I have so much to get done!" I almost started to read more Deathknell last night but happily you posted this and Poisontaster posted another chapter of AKB. Tonight if none of my favorite authors have new chapters of things I KNOW will be good, I'll definitely be reading more Deathknell. It's just so damn wonderful!
