If you're looking for a side biz, evaluate your interests then do some online market research. Combining intersts AND $ is a good thing before you pore hard earned energy into this project. Looking at ebay to see whats selling is a good way to see if its' lucrative.
Creating a product, like a subscription service to network folks or give them additional value to your site is also a good money maker. Or creates monthly residual income which I'm big on.
I was thinking of Balto school of Massage and how a lot of students need table time, or recent grads. don't get jobs because it's so expensive to go out on their own. Organizing a group of grads or students that want the work, and groups of folks that need massage might be a lucrative path. Free massages for your and T and offering discounted massages to the community might be fun idea. (theraputic massage taht is ;) *huggles*
