I found this verse today and read it all in one go. Let me just tell you, it's amazing.
Very vivid descriptions that rip your heart out every time, this sense of hopelessness dipped in small glimpses of better things that could come for both of them. I love how you write Jensen, so jagged but too strong to let himself crumble and how Jeff knows exactly what buttons he has to push to peel away Jen's layers. This thing with Adam really broke me. To think of seeing someone you loved reduced to that and having to live your life paying off a debt in their name, even though they aren't really there anymore...poor Jensen. Yuri's a bastard all the way through, he really disgusts me. I just want Jeff to sweep Jensen off his feet and make it all better, but of course it can't be that simple.
I can still hope though, right? :) Wonderful story, keep up the awesome job.
