Because my head really hurts and I can't do much more than empty my bookmarks this week:
- What I learned about grounding for sexual abuse survivors: Trigger warning for descriptions of sexual abuse. I found this post illuminating, and bought more socks.
- Six pregnancy tests in one week: "I visited Christian pregnancy centers that lure women in with false promises of medical care. Here's what they told me about abortions, breast cancer, shame, and death."
- I'm not okay with Chris Brown performing at the Grammys: "I’m frustrated that the mainstream media is covering this story like it’s any comeback story, like an exiled prince’s return to a former glory, like this is another political timeline — as though some rich and powerful old white men in the music business have not just issued an enormous ‘f**k you’ to every woman who has been, is or will be on the receiving end of domestic violence."
- Sayonara, big Pharma: "No new drugs. How stupid is this? Imagine if the movie industry were to announce that there were no new films in production."
- Vetville: "More than two million American veterans have served in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. Many came home wounded, most came back changed, thousands have committed suicide. Who is trying to help them? At a small farm in Tennessee, marines are taking care of one another."

And one cool thing: Code Year will teach women how to program. For free.
