Nov. 17th, 2011 04:46 pm- I'm crazy, but it's not glamorous: "About a year ago, I decided that, you know, maybe it was time to get back on this horse and access some damn mental health services already."

- Strong woman: "Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is complain."
- Even people who coach your team have to live in society: "There’s a natural cognitive bias towards believing that someone who’s in your tribe, someone you identify with, can do no wrong. And that can allow a lot of wrong to get done."
- It happened to me: I got in trouble for bringing my boobs with me to the office: "If I'd been told the neckline of my dress was inappropriate, I don't think I'd have been thrilled, but I'd have gotten over it. Instead, years later, I still seethe at the memory of a woman I respected telling me that it was because of my body." (Don't read the comments, though.)
