25. Do any of your characters have pets? Tell us about them.
I love animals; my RL job is dogwalking, my RL volunteer work is animal rescue, and my life is dominated by the 3 cats and 1 dog that own me. Long story short, it's my priority, and so a lot of that leaks over into my writing.
There's the vet-Dean story where Dean tries to cure his PTSD by saving two infant kittens. There's Jeremy's dog, Winston, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel that's based on his RL dog and who kept Jeremy from going off the rails after his release from the hospital; I keep wanting to write the story where Misha tries to teach Jensen that Winston is an ottoman, not a vicious man-eater. There's Jeff's dog, Bisou, featured in several of my CWRPS fics because Jeff's dog is his girl and his priority, and so she's important; I plan to start writing about Bandit the rescue from Losers at some point, too, because ohgod he's cute. And of course there's all the kitten-fics where Jensen from Losers is a wee ginger cat, or he turns into a female cat at full moon, and the kitten-fic where Alec from Dark Angel is a were-cat and Jeff saves him. There's Jared's dogs, Harley and Sadie, featured once or twice, and Chad Michael Murray's rescue dogs, which convinced me that he was secretly a good person...
I am noticing a theme, and I could go longer, but MY cat is demanding some lap time. Resistance is futile.
