Yeee. Jeff's so much more feral than I was expecting, but yet he's still Jeff. But The EYE! The finger! MY GOD. So vivid and shocking, the more so for being seemingly acceptable behaviours in the context of the world and Jeff's place in it. I'm so entranced by this universe, and I want to know everything about it, and why Jensen is the way he is, and what exactly the Librarians DO and how all these fascinating fragments of world-knowledge will ultimately fit together. I'm excitedly looking forward to more, it's intriguing and just brilliant.
