I remember on Rescue Me, when they were getting a girl in the station and the boys were making all this fuss about not trusting her with their lives and I was like "What's the big deal? If she passes the physical tests, she can do the job." but the girl fire-fighter had upper arms the size of my wrist and I wouldn't have wanted her carrying me anywhere.
