disorganized TTRPG musical flailing 10

nilchancewe're playing Rime of the Frostmaiden tonight, so it's time for more disorganized musical flailing about my blorbo Skink:
part of why I chose this song for his playlist is that Skink is an Oath of the Ancients paladin with an aura that halves all damage from spells for himself and everybody within 10 ft of him, which means that he's taken a hail of meteors straight to the face and shrugged it off. he doesn't have time for this magical bullshit trying to hurt his friends, and the sheer force of his NOPE is enough to bend reality itself.
mechanics aside, there's also a part of Skink that excels at being a tank because he thinks if anybody is going to get hit, it should be him. that's his job. it doesn't matter if it hurts or if he's scared; there's people to protect and gods to fight. throw whatever you've got at him, and he'll take it and keep on going until his body literally gives out on him. it's not the healthiest thing ever, but the combo of stubbornness, protectiveness re: his friends, and a mile-wide self-sacrificial streak makes him a good paladin... even if he would be absolutely horrified to hear anybody say so.
