And ok, with this chapter, you completely altered some of my perceptions from the first one! It's no longer a hot, tutelary dom/sub fic...it reminds me of some dark and gritty modern film noir, Chandler meets Seven. Have you ever seen the movie, 8MM, by the same team as made Seven? It's heart-breaking and extremely well-acted, with Nicolas Cage and Joaquin Phoenix...and hey, not another book rec! \o/
But my nerves are still getting an odd vibe from Misha's request. Is that usual, asking your dom lover to pick up a guy and have sex with him "the way we do", when you're away?
I hope Jeff finds Jensen again, or Jensen comes to him, like a stray looking for home...because Jeff could be really good for him, and I'm betting the time invested would pay off like hell. *nods vigorously*
