I love me some wickedly smart Cat/Jensen/Alec! From his actions (getting dressed on his own, eating from Jeff's hand, kneading on Jeff's leg and then demanding affection - btw? so very like a cat...uh, except the putting on pants thing) he's not all that feral. Not in the right hands.
As much as I love Cat, I love Jeff's bemused, confused state. He doesn't know what the hell to do with Cat, but he knows what he's not going to do - turn him over to someone who would stamp him as their property and obviously mistreat him.
