things wot I want, the fic edition

I really want someone (who is not me) to write the very long fic where Kylo Ren gets amnesia, is basically a decent dude with screaming nightmares, doesn't even realize he's a Force user. Maybe he gets cats, IDK. Then he slowly realizes who he is and what he's done, and then he has to deal with the consequences. With optional turning himself in for execution at a Rebel base, because he deserves to be dead. (Can't take that terrible drama Skywalker streak out, after all.)

And then they won't kill him.

And redemption is ugly and hard, and nobody trusts him, and his mother won't kill him but also can't look at him. Redemption doesn't involve him dying, because dying is easy.

I mean, the dude was 15 when he was basically inducted into a cult, but he's also done these awful violent things deliberately. He's pathetic and cruel, and that helps make him interesting to me.

I wish I could summon fully-formed fics out of my brain.
