4. Tell us about one of your first stories/characters!

My first story was (no lie) kitten fic. About how I wanted a kitten. It was illustrated with crayon and the teacher laminated it for me. I did not get a kitten for my effort, but my parents encouraged my writing after that, which is maybe even better.
