I've always wondered if Castiel was holding back, to make the boys (especially Dean) step up more, and not find him as intimidating as they might have a full-fledged warrior archangel (before they found out angels were mostly dicks, lol).

BTW, when Zachariah mentioned that Dean was Michael's vessel, I couldn't help but think of "Of Bastard Saints". Kinda eerie in a way. Made me wanna read it again!

I think you're one of the few reviewer/commenters I've read who actually picked up on how *well* Rachael did Meg. The only spoiler I had for the new season (and the only one I want, frankly) is that Rachel Miner would be playing Meg. I'm just hoping that they bring her back again.

She's a very good actress. The part she's had recently that blew me away was her appearance opposite Christian Kane in "Hide". The woman has chops.
