Your description of the unfinished building gave me chills. I don't know if that detail is important, that Jeff and Misha live in an unfinished building... but as you described it I could so clearly see the hallway. It felt important.
And of course the media is going to attack the group that's on the fringe. It's always so easy to attack the Other. To blame the Other for everyone's problems.
Oh and this is mildly off-topic, but I found myself re-reading Deathknell last night and I've got say once again that it's one of my favorite stories in fandom. I only meant to read the first chapter, like a well beloved bedtime story. You know, something to quiet the brain that wants to obsess over finals and not sleep. Then I found myself reading "just one more" until I was halfway through the series and I HAD to go to bed. The fact that I've read the series at least three times and I know whats going to happen next, but I still have to read "just one more" tells me what a good author you and Beanside are. Thanks again.
