Yay, I love this-the tension between and the characterization. I love the comparison of Jensen to a feral cat, needing and hurt but fighting with his last strength, and I love how caring and steady but so affected Jeff is. And this line killed me: It's clumsy, a kiss for a man more used to punching, a widower's kiss.
