When does this take place. I though it was season one because John was alive, but then you wrote:"There's a look on Sam's face that means he's thinking of Dean in hell, Dad gone, hunting alone and doing whatever was necessary to bring them all home." And the part about restraints (for Dean? for Sam?) that made me think it was past Dean's deal, and in Hell, and everything...but thier dad IS alive so...
