For the moment, I'm going flocked on old posts. The fic will be unlocked again sometime this evening, when I'm not at work.

Aaaand, that's pretty much it. I feel like I should do a little tapdance with a top hat or something.

This is a real tragedy. I feel it particularly because I have just found our wonderful community. Had I stumbled onto LJ now instead of several months ago, this place would be a flocked secret. Truly sad for both writers and readers who benefit from a symbiotic relationship.

If you hear of anyway to help out - writing letters, posting support, etc. - please let me know. kbpen

Currently I'm not too aware of what's going on. Most of my 'duck and cover' response is based on the fact that I'm closeted and work with students, sometimes students under 18. It's paranoid, but there you go. I am sad that yeah, this atmosphere of "EEP!" is going to make it harder for new fans to connect and interact. Glad you got in under the wire, though.
