I have been saving this, chapter by chapter, as you've been posting. Wanting to read it all at once and hen you went and put the end chpter nubmer in the count and all my willpower was completely lost.
I have every intention of sending you both a long LOC when it's done because there's a character limit on the comment field and I cannot do justice to what an amazingly detailed, well-constructed, well characterized, totally mesmerizing story you guys have crafted. You've got such an total and compelling grip on the family dynamics, and amazing sense of both flair and reveal, and I've just had the absolute best time riding this rollercoaster.

Your John is possibly the best portrayal I've ever read -- just amazingly well motivated and in character. Your Dean has me all tense and worried, scared for how much more he can take, if he'll break and if there's any way to put him back together fully again. Your Sam is breaking my heart, because it's like watching him trying to grow up again, watching him finding his footing as he struggles for balance, to find his place again...trying (and sometimes failing) at being the protector rather than the protectee -- and desperately trying make Dean understand both his love and his devotion.

Just...I'm kind of overwhelmed and thrilled. This is jsut an incredible story and I want to thank you both so much for sharing it.
