I came home from work at lunch, I skipped a meeting (imminently skippable, as all meetings are, but still) in the hopes that you might have posted a chapter *just like this and just as you did*! And it so didn't disappoint! Man, loved the moments with Mary. Like Andrew, too, in a weird way ('Your dad sent me' 'Liar' moment was great.) But Mary, man...both boys need some quality time with Mom (nearly universal truth, I realize that) and it was wonderful to think that Dean got to sleep even a little while under her protection.
Glad Dean still isn't sure if Sam's alive, because this seemed like a non-climactic way of finding out, and I'm really looking forward to that climax. That's going to be payoff for a lot of agony, so please don't throw it way or pull an Austen on me (although that would technically require that you convey a major emotional moment in a letter.) :-) The "Sam's Alive, Sam-n-Dean Reunion" show *needs* to be big. Please. I'm begging. :-)
Bless you for my lunchtime fix. Back to work! (uh...for me. but you too, please!)
