*grin* Physics are yay. Seriously though, I think Dean's smarter than he gets credit for. Because dude, he can make an EMF out of a Walkman and a flametorch out of an aerosol can. He totally used to rock the science fairs, except then he burned down a gym and wasn't allowed to play anymore.
