The hunter community (such as it is) is one of the most interesting parts of the show for me, because what we've seen of it so far casts the Winchesters in different ways. What with Bobby threatening to shoot John, the mentioned rift between John and Elkins... we got the feeling that John's a hardass even among other hunters, and that there really hasn't been any mentions of other hunters who were raised and trained like Sam or Dean were. And I forgot where I was going with that ramble, but, yeah. We thought of the "a little more tequila, a little less hunting" comment Sam made about Max, and went with it from the hunting rather than psychic angle. Dean is to Amanda as Sam was to Max.
Beer equals yuck. But I can't see John ordering anything but beer or hard manly liquor, like Jack/Jim/Jose.
