*laugh* We kind of figured that despite John's mini-freakout in their previous chapter, part of him is still quietly assuming that he'll catch up to Dean and find him hanging around in a bar somewhere, trying to get laid with his new "how I bound a demon, wanna kiss my scars?" story. Because Dean is lucky, damn it. (And, well, he didn't want to get into another car wreck when Sam punched him.)
