Because there are so few regular characters on the show (really only Sam and Dean because John is more present in his absence, and to some extent that's true even with the episodes he appears in), the hunter community draws one's attention. Well, if one has fannish tendencies, anyway, as we're all about the sinking into (and manipulating) canon. And the best part of the canon is usually the characters and their relationships.
(Note (1) This comment is brought to you by sweeping generalizations. (2) Half-way through the preceeding paragraph, I was struck by the near-irresistable *need* to go back and amend my parenthetical comment to include the Impala as one of the regular characters. *whimpers*)
The reason I talked about John is because I'm actually *liking* John in this story. That doesn't usually happen.
You're welcome for the feedback and thank you for the compliment. Usually I'm terrible about remembering to leave feedback, but once it a while my lazy procrastinating tendencies are overcome by a story. And once the ice is broken, my other tendency (the babbling one) takes over.
And now, I'm off to read the new chapter. ::is nervous because OMG zombies!!!::
