I seem to be leaving comments on all the Dean chapters so I thought I'd stop off here and say I think this is my favourite chapter so far. You've captured the characters of the boys - all 3 - so well.

And in your comment above about John's reaction, I gotta say it makes perfect sense. I was on some level aware of that issue but reading it in your words - you've hit it the nail right on the head.
